Single Talk - Action Workshop
You told us you wanted to take action on the Singlehood Penalty, well we've come up with plan. An Action Workshop in the pub! We'll identify the issues you want to raise, who you want to raise them with, and help you write approach letters to relevant politicians and bureaucrats. We'll also help you develop your plan of action.
Join the discussion on exactly what issues to raise with which politicians—local, state, or federal—and how to approach them effectively. More than chalk and talk, the night will include identifying the exact issue you want to raise, and supporting you to develop a strategy to raise it with the right group or person.
Itinerary:
6:30 PM: Meet and greet, order food and drinks
6:45 PM: Identify your issue. Identify who you can target in local, state and federal government. What to write, and how to write to key leaders
8:00 PM: Communication Templates
8:15 PM: Final discussion, next steps
8:30 PM: End
Food and drinks can be ordered directly at the venue and will be delivered to the table.

Single Talk - Singlehood Penalty
The Singlehood Penalty exists. In an economy increasingly reliant on a two-income household, people doing life on a single income are challenged by living costs catering to dual incomes and may struggle to save a buffer for a financial or health crisis, a catastrophic weather event, professional training, or retirement. Join us as we explore the economics of singlehood.
